Marsh Products

- External Reset Feature for Field Recalibration
- Hermetically Sealed Case Design
- 9 Dual Scale Ranges to 1000°F (525°C)
- Stem Lengths to 24"
- 1% Full Scale Accuracy
- 2", 3", and 5" Dials
Marsh Instruments Bimetal Thermometers combine the benefits of economy and reliability
for local mounted temperature indication in the dual scale ranges from -50°F to 1000
(-40°C to 525°C). Additional advantages offered by the Series "L" Bimetal
Thermometers include easy-to-read dual scale, fast speed of response, and accurate
temperature indication. The hermetically sealed and ruggedly built case is resistant to
shock, vibration, dust and moisture. Corrosion resistance to most chemicals is provided by
the all welded type 304 stainless steel construction.
The extremely responsive bimetal sensing element provides an accuracy to within ±1% of
scale. An external adjustment screw on the back of the 3" and 5" case provides
convenient reset and field recalibration. Built-in over range protection is a standard
feature.

- Back and Bottom Mounting Options
- Rotatable Red Set Pointer
- Rugged Construction
- Three-Color Dial
- Three Pressure Ranges
- 2.5" and 3.25" Dials
Marsh Instruments Tridicators (Boiler Gauges) are rdesigned and suitable for hot water
heating systems. These instruments indicate pressure in psi and altitude in feet of H2O;
temperature in °F and °C. All models feature a rotating dial with a red arrow indicator
for setting the desired pressure and altitude of the installation.

- Versatile Back/Bottom Connection
- 9 Case Designs
- 6 Ranges (to 350°F)
Marsh Instruments Vapor Actuated Thermometers bring economy and accuracy to remote
measuring applications within the (-40° to 350°F) range.
Two basic styles allow either remote mounting of the temperature scale (as far as 75 feet
from the sensing bulb) or direct mounting of the Thermometer for local temperature
indication. Remote reading units offer, as standard, 6 feet of flexible capillary with
double-braided copper armor for greater mechanical protection. Capillaries on center back
models are reinforced with stainless steel coiled armor at the case. Bulbs are 3.5 inch
standard with ½" NPT union connection.

- Fast Response
- High Accuracy
- Shock and Vibration Resistant
Marsh Instruments Liquid Actuated sensing system of the Model SCF features a spiral
wound Bourdon tube that absorbs shock and vibration. Steady operation results, which
combines with the linear scale of the thermometer to allow accurate temperature readings.

- Temperature Indication Only or With Electrical Switches
- Excellent Vibration Resistance
- Direct Mount or Remote Case Mount Design
Designed for temperature measurement and/or control applications where vibration may be
encountered. Available with up to three snap-action switches to activate alarms or control
equipment. Choice of direct mount or remote mount case designs. Maximum temperature
reached is indicated by a red marking pointer.

- Temperature Indication and Control
- Excellent Vibration Resistance
- Durable Weatherproof Case
Designed for application requiring both temperature indication and control (e.g.,
oil-cooled electrical transformers). Available with up to four micro switches to activate
auxiliary electrical equipment or alarm devices. Switch points are easily adjusted without
taking the unit out of service. Offers excellent resistance to vibration and features a
weather-proof case.

- Excellent Vibration Resistance
- Fast Response
- High Accuracy
- Remote or Direct Mounting
The Model SJ Dial Thermometer withstands vibrating conditions to give accurate
temperature indication. Its liquid-actuated temperature sensing system utilizes a spiral
wound Bourdon tube that absorbs shock. Steady operation results, which combines with the
3½" dial size for ease of reading. The Model SJ is available in a variety of case
styles and with a selection of temperature measurement ranges.

- Ideal for Outdoor Service
- Electric Contact Option
- Excellent Stability
Combination of weatherproof construction and phenolic case makes the T-2 and T-2E
series thermometers ideal for outdoor service. These thermometers are also highly suited
to installation where vibration typically causes stability problems. Each unit features a
red marking pointer to indicate the highest temperature reached between readings.
