The B-8498 Series Protector is for use with gauges or other pressure sensing instruments, to protect those instruments from sludge, slurry, and other hazards of process media. A durable, sensitive diaphragm allows the instrument to sense process pressure without contacting the process medium. A compatible liquid must be used to fill the space on the instrument side of the diaphragm, in the instrument itself, and in any fittings or tubing in between.
